On March 23, 2014, The Fairfax Bar Young Lawyers Section, in conjunction with the Hispanic Bar Association of Virginia, held the annual Color of Justice program. The student program was held at the Fairfax County Court House. Over sixty students, ranging from Middle School to High School seniors participated in the program.
On August 8, 2015, the HBA-VA and HBA-DC hosted a successful La Familia BBQ. Over 50 members and their families attended the gathering and enjoyed good food and a piñata for the children.
