Fernando Villarroel – Secretary

bio-fernando-250Mr. Villarroel’s practice includes criminal, family law and immigration matters. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Villarroel served as a judicial law clerk for three judges in the Arlington County Circuit Court.

Mr. Villarroel received his law degree from American University. In law school, Mr. Villarroel served as the vice-president of the Latino Law Students Association, a Teaching Fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, and a Dean’s Fellow for the General Practice Clinic.

Mr. Villarroel completed his undergraduate degree at George Mason University, majoring in Global Affairs and Minor in Spanish. At George Mason, Mr. Villarroel was president of the Hispanic Student Association, was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, received GMU Vision Awards for Leadership and Academic Excellence, and was a member of the men’s club soccer team.

Mr. Villarroel was born in Bolivia but was raised in the Northern Virginia area. He attended Arlington County and Alexandria City public schools. Mr. Villarroel is fluent in Spanish.
