Event Navigation

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia (APABA), with the assistance of the Hispanic Bar Association of Virginia and other specialty bars, is hosting this year's Color of Justice Program (COJ). The event is aimed at encouraging diversity within the legal profession.

The event will take place at the Fairfax County Circuit Court, which is at 4110 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, Virginia. The event will take place on April 21, 2018. It will run from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Seventh through twelfth grade students are invited to attend. The COJ will include a Mock Trial, where students will act as jurors, and an Essay Contest. Attached is a flyer with information for interested students and parents. Please feel free to share this information with anyone who may be interested.

APABA and the other specialty bars are looking for additional sponsors to help fund the event and ensure a good time for all. Included with this post is a Sponsorship Letter for anyone who may be interested in contributing to this year's COJ. Please feel free to pass the sponsorship letter along to anyone who may be interested in supporting this cause.

If you need additional information about the essay contest, mock trial, or COJ generally, or if you wish to help sponsor the event, please contact Jennifer Lee, the APABA President, at jenlee131@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you there!
